Life is learned together.

Mentorship at Forge begins with everyday life—a shared meal, a game of basketball, an honest conversation, and someone who makes time to listen.

As we develop our mentoring approach, these relationships create opportunities to learn together:

Practical skills

Changing oil and a flat tire, using basic tools, cooking a meal, and caring for a home.

Everyday responsibility

Understanding taxes, budgeting, building healthy routines, and following through on commitments.

Relationships and character

Learning to communicate, navigate conflict, build healthy relationships, and persevere through setbacks.

New possibilities

Exploring careers and trades, preparing for interviews, serving others, and experiencing places and opportunities beyond the familiar.

Faith and identity

Exploring Scripture, prayer, and meaningful books together—with room for honest questions about purpose, identity, and the love of God the Father.

Each young man brings different interests and needs. Some days we practice a skill. Other days we talk through a hard decision. Sometimes we simply enjoy being together.

We begin by listening, share what we know, and keep showing up.

Where we are today

Our current work is founder-led mentoring. As these relationships grow, we’re refining our approach and building the foundation for a broader mentorship program.
